Calibration Laboratory clients and vendors,
At Calibration Laboratory, our number one priority is the health and safety of our employees, clients, vendors, and our community. We want to personally assure you that we are monitoring the outbreak of the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) very closely. We are monitoring the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), the World Health Organization (WHO), and local health officials.
Beyond simply monitoring the situation, we are taking active measures to ensure a safe and secure workplace. Sanitizing wipes are near workstations and counters so that employees can keep them continuously cleaned. Our calibration technicians wash their hands completely before and after servicing your equipment. Your equipment is also cleaned upon completion.
We are closely following the Centers for Disease Control’s (CDC) guidelines and recommendations on the steps we can take to help prevent the spread of the virus. We have shared specific instructions with our employees on the importance of washing their hands and staying home if they feel sick and to self-quarantine for 14 days.
For those clients that use our free pickup and delivery service we would like to suggest a no-contact delivery/pickup or the CDC recommended 6 foot safe distance during the exchange if possible. You should also consider shipping your items to us during this time.
For those clients that drop their items off at our receiving department we would also like to suggest possibly shipping your items to us.
Per the CDC, In general, because of poor survivability of these coronaviruses on surfaces, there is likely very low risk of spread from packaging that are shipped over a period of days or weeks at ambient, refrigerated, or frozen temperatures.
Health and safety are all of our responsibilities.
Stay safe and we thank you for your continued support.
