Accreditation

ISO/IEC 17025:2017 & ANSI/NCSL Z540.3 Accredited

In addition to our ISO/IEC 17025:2017 accreditation, Cal Lab is accredited to ANSI/NCSL Z540.3, through ANSI National Accreditation Board (ANAB). This is a high-level of national achievement with which we are able to provide data to those specifying Z540.3 and Z540-1. We apply the requirements of Z540.3 to our own Measuring and Test Equipment (M&TE), which allows us to calculate the Probability of False Acceptance (PFA) for client calibrations. In doing so, we meet the requirements of the United States Navy, NASA and others.

ISO 9001:2015 Compliant

A laboratory’s fulfillment of the requirements of ISO/IEC 17025:2017 means the laboratory meets both the technical competence requirements and management system requirements that are necessary for it to consistently deliver technically valid test results and calibrations. The management system requirements in ISO/IEC 17025:2017 are written in language relevant to laboratory operations and meet the principles of ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management Systems – Requirements and are aligned with its pertinent requirements.

Assessed by ANSI National Accreditation Board to meet the requirements of international and national standards as described in the linked certificates below.
