Please ask the company you are working with what kind of calibration they need. If they mention "accredited" or "17025," then you probably need level 2 or 3. If they mention "Z540.3" or "Guard Banding," then you need level 4. If you still are not sure, then we will default to level 2. A full explanation of our calibration levels can be found here.

Measurement Guard banding will be reported when the Test Uncertainty Ratio (TUR) is below a specified trigger level. Guard banding tightens the acceptance limits by subtracting a percentage (Z Factor) of the EMU from the tolerance limits. The values of 4:1 TUR and 30% Z-Factor are considered default.
